The city of Piedmont, including the school, is under a boil water order until Wednesday, October 16. Drinking water is available outside the high school office.
The Clearwater R-1 yearbook staff participated in the Southeast Missouri Student Press Association’s 40th Annual Workshop at Southeast Missouri State University last week. 397 students from 32 schools attended the event which included breakout sessions on yearbook design, PhotoShop, photography, and more. Contests were conducted in several yearbook and newspaper categories. Clearwater R-1 took top honors for the cover of the 2013 yearbook with the theme “Come as You Are… Leave Different.” This award winning yearbook can still be purchased at the high school library for $40.00.
The FCCLA Spike Out Cancer volleyball tournament Saturday raised $700 to donate to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

The baseball game on Friday (Oct 4) between Clearwater and Greenville will be played at Piedmont.

A skeet shoot to raise money for the Holden Bell Memorial Scholarship will be held Saturday, October 5. Registration begins at 10:00 am.
