Auditions for the Dinner Theater will be held Monday and Tuesday, February 27-28 in Ms. Montgomery’s room at 3:30 pm. The Dinner Theater will be held on April 7-8.

PROSTART STUDENTS GEAR UP FOR COMPETITION

The 2017 ProStart® Missouri State Competition will be held on February 17 in Springfield where students, educators, and chefs will gather for the Sixteenth Annual Missouri ProStart® Invitational. CHS will be sending both culinary and management teams to demonstrate their culinary skills and business acumen in a fast-paced competition to win a share of a half-million dollars in scholarship opportunities and the honor of representing Missouri at the National ProStart Invitational to be held in April in Charleston, South Carolina.
LOCAL HISTORY DAY WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15
Students will be exhibiting local History Day projects on Wednesday afternoon, February 15. Judging starts at 2:00. Viewing will be open to the public at 3:00 pm in the high school cafeteria. The video below contains examples of good NHD projects.
