CHS DRAMA PRESENTS… “FASHIONABLY LATE”

Director Mrs. Tracy Henson and a large cast of characters have prepared a comedy you won’t want to miss!  Opening night is tonight, and you are cordially invited to attend the Clearwater High School production of Fashionably Late.  The curtain goes up at 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1 in the high school cafeteria.  There will also be a matinee theater at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 2.

STATE HISTORY DAY COMPETITORS

IMG_6407 0IMG_6403These students represented Clearwater High School at State History Day in Columbia over the weekend.  Their projects highlighted historical leaders including Pocahontas, Clara Barton, Eleanor Roosevelt, Amelia Earhart, and Francis Marion, fitting the History Day theme, “Leadership and Legacy.”

CHS STUDENT TO PERFORM IN “OKLAHOMA!”

TRC OklahomaClearwater’s own Mia Gayle will be performing at the Tinnin Fine Arts Center as Ado Annie in the Three Rivers College production of “Oklahoma!” The show features a cast of more than 50 talented folks including students, staff, and community members from all around southeast Missouri and an 18 piece orchestra.  CHS Music Director Dana Buxton will be chaperoning students to Poplar Bluff to enjoy the musical on opening night, Thursday, April 16.  Other shows are on April 17 and 18 at 7 pm and April 19 at 2 pm.  Tickets are $5.00 for students, $10.00 for adults.
