Thursday’s baseball game at South Iron has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
VOLLEYBALL GAME RESCHEDULED
The volleyball game on Tuesday vs. Bunker has been rescheduled. The game will now be played on Tuesday, October 8.

FIELDS OF FAITH WEDNESDAY, OCT 2
Fields of Faith, an annual faith-based crusade involving students coming together on athletic fields nationwide, will be held in Poplar Bluff on Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm. The bus will leave from Clearwater High School at 5:00 pm. Please pick up permission slips in Mrs. Johnson’s room and turn them in by the end of school on Wednesday.

FAFSA FRENZY TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8
The Clearwater High School guidance office will be sponsoring a FAFSA Frenzy on Tuesday, October 8, 3:30 – 7:00 pm in the business lab. This session is open to the public for assistance to parents and students who will be enrolling in college at any time during the Fall 2020 or Spring/Summer 2021 semesters.
FAFSA Frenzy helps thousands of Missouri students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid every year. The FAFSA is the primary form used by federal, state, and institutional financial assistance programs in determining an individual’s eligibility for grants, loans, work-study, and scholarships.
The new 2020–21 FAFSA application period begins on Tuesday, October 1. For priority consideration in Missouri, applications should be submitted no later than February 3, 2020. However, it is advisable to submit early and check with your particular college, as some institutions may have different school deadlines.

All juniors will be taking the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery on Friday, October 4. If you are a senior and want to take/retake the ASVAB, please sign up with the guidance counselor’s office.

BRIGHT FUTURES CLEARWATER WEEK
Highlights of Bright Futures Clearwater Week have included the kick-off of lunch buddies, participation in random acts of kindness, and visual support of the educational community through orange and black clothing and window dressings. T-shirts are still available in the high school guidance office; $8 for S-XL and $10 for 2X-3X.
