The library will be closed on Monday, February, 28 (at least in the morning), so please come to school with your Chromebooks charged or your charger. It is possible that the library will be open in the afternoon.
Dual Credit Students—all hours except 4th hour should meet in Mrs. Burns’ office. Fourth hour should meet in the ITV room.
Two groups of students and their teachers competed today, showing their culinary and management skills along with their business knowledge.
Mrs. Johnson’s ProStart students left Thursday morning for a competition in Springfield. While there, the management team presented their restaurant plan to judges and were interviewed by a panel of judges. The culinary team cooked a meal while judges watched. As of 12:45, all competitions are complete and now we wait for results.
Ms. Conner’s FBLA students left Friday morning for a competition in Poplar Bluff. Students are competing in business related areas with some testing, some delivering speeches, and some presenting projects. We will update results as they are made available.
Clearwater High School is proud to announce that seniors Mickey Shi and Silas Tippen are February Students of the Month. Mickey is the son of Jian Jin Shi and Li Chun Lin of Piedmont, Missouri. While in school, Mickey has been a member of Beta Club for 3 years. In his spare time, he likes to play chess and do some gaming. He also spends time playing with his little brother and family. In the future, Mickey may go to a trade school or find a suitable job, but he is currently unclear on his future plans. Silas is the son of Brian Tippen and Sarah Tippen of Piedmont. Silas has been a member of the CHS Robotics Club, Skills USA, and NHS. In his free time, Silas loves to read. It is one of his favorite things. He also loves making tea and thinks it is almost always better hot. He wants to attend college and become a nurse.
CHS Drama students are planning to perform Gaslight on April 7-8. On April 7, they are planning to perform for the high school; on April 8, they planning to perform for the middle school during the day and the community in the evening.
