SONIC FUNDS TWO MORE CHROMEBOOKS; ONE WEEK LEFT TO DONATE AT CAUSE MOMENTUM
Through Sonic’s Limeades for Learning project and DonorsChoose.org, Clearwater R-1 received funding for two more Chromebooks toward meeting the district goal of one device for each student. Projects for were chosen for funding by Sonic based on the most votes each week from September 25 through October 22.
Students are using Chromebooks at Clearwater to access google classroom, research and organize projects, and prepare assignments. Using technology to complete school work prepares students for their prospective careers. It also reduces the use of paper, preserving our natural resources and allowing limited school financial resources to be used for greater purposes. Thanks goes out to Sonic Drive-In and everyone who helped with the effort of getting the word out and voting!
If you haven’t donated yet, there is one week left to keep the momentum going for more Chromebooks through the Clearwater School Foundation’s project at Cause Momentum. https://causemomentum.org/projects/chromebooks-for-students If you want to donate past the November 1 deadline, please mail donations to Clearwater School Foundation, PO Box 154, Piedmont, MO 63957 or contact Ronda Polk at 223-4596.
