UPDATE TO STUDENT AND PARENT PORTALS

A new feature has been added to the SIS (School Information System) Portal that displays the student’s complete high school course history. Especially helpful to students who are now determining the classes they want to take for the 2018-19 school year, users should click on the “Academic History” tile to see past and current year course enrollments. (Students who are new to Clearwater this semester may not yet be able to see their classes.)

LIKE TO READ? OPPORTUNITY FOR TEENS

VOYA (Voice of Youth Advocates) is in search of students ages 12-18 to review books with the aim of guiding librarians, teachers, and other youth workers to purchase items of teen interest for their collections or classrooms. As partners to adult reviewers, teen reviewers (TR) write brief, critically evaluative statements explaining their opinion or response to the book, gauging its appeal or lack of value to a general or specific teen audience. Over the course of two days, they completed six workshops led by a number of working Broadway professionals, including some cast and crew members from HamiltonOn Sunday, they attended a matinee performance of the show and met actors Donald Webber, Jr. (Alexander Hamilton) and James Monroe Iglehart (Lafayette/Jefferson) at the stage door.
