Thursday, May 12      Scholarship Assembly 8:15 am
Friday, May 13            Wear caps and gowns for class photo in the gym at 10:00 am.

.                                      High School Graduation 7:00 pm  (Doors open at 5:30 pm)
.                                      Seniors need to be in the high school cafeteria by 6:15 pm.

The Clearwater Tigers will be taking on the East Carter Redbirds in a 5:00 pm game on Thursday, May 5 for the Black River League baseball championship title.

Several CHS seniors woke up Wednesday morning to cool weather after camping out at school.  The last day of school for the 2016 Senior Class is Friday, May 6.  Graduation practice will take place next week with Baccalaureate services at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 11 and graduation on Friday, May 13.

The Clearwater Lady Tigers will play host to the Greenville Lady Bears in the Class 1 District 6 Softball Championship game on Wednesday, May 4.  The Wayne County rivals will face off at 4:00 pm at Rotary Park in Piedmont.

Championship Hoop Dancer Lowery Begay and CMS student Ty Silvester performed at Clearwater on Tuesday, May 3.  Hoop dancing, storytelling, drumming, and playing the flute, Lowery shared Native American culture with CHS students as he has done with people all over the world including Japan and Europe.

   The CHS Tigers and Lady Tigers will be in tournament play on Tuesday.  In the first round of softball districts, Halle Gooch hit an inside the park home run and the ladies shut out Summersville to advance to the semi-finals.  The baseball tigers will face their first team in the BRL tournament today as they take on the Ellington Whippets.

The Clearwater Tigers received a first round bye in the Black River League Baseball Tournament being hosted at Piedmont.  Tourney games began on Monday, May 2.  The Tigers will play at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, May 3.

Clearwater will be hosting the Class 1, District 6 softball tournament at Rotary Park beginning Monday, May 2.  The 2nd seed Clearwater Lady Tigers will open the tournament against Summersville at 12:00 pm.
