The CHS Beta Club is collecting coats for homeless veterans during the month of December. Coats will be taken to veterans in Poplar Bluff and St. Louis homeless shelters. In addition to coats, donations may include blankets, sleeping bags, scarves, gloves, hats, and other winter wear. Other items to donate are hand sanitizer, baby wipes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and snacks, such as peanuts and peanut butter crackers. These will be put together in goodie bags to hand out with coats and outerwear. There is a box in the high school lobby to collect donations. See Brittany Adams for more information.
