DISTRICT HISTORY DAY WINNERS

Social Studies teachers Jessica Sentell and Cathy Shearrer traveled to the campus of Southeast Missouri State University on Friday, March 9 with CHS and CMS participants in District History Day. The following students received top awards and are advancing to state competition.

Black River League junior high volleyball tournament hosted in the Clearwater High School gym. Games will be played 1:00 – 8:00 pm.

District Speech Tournament at Ste. Genevieve; Bus leaves at 5:30 am
Softball games at home vs. Bismarck and Potosi, 10:00 am and 2:00 pm
Baseball vs. Dexter and Malden @ Dexter, 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm;  Bus leaves at 9:30 am

TIGER BASEBALL JAMBOREE SATURDAY, MARCH 10

The 2018 Tiger Baseball Jamboree will be hosted by Clearwater High School on Saturday, March 10.  All times listed are approximate. The next game will begin when both teams are ready to go. Each team will play a three inning game against the other three teams. Each half inning will end after 3 outs or 8 runs, whichever comes first. Pitchers are limited to throwing 2 innings. There is a one-hour time limit on each game. Admission will be not charged for the jamboree.  A concession stand will be available.

REGIONAL SCIENCE FAIR WINNERS

   Jackson Henson and Zoe Bell took third place awards in their respective categories of Microbiology/Zoology and Environmental Science at the 62nd annual Southeast Missouri Regional Science Fair held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.
Judges viewed 442 projects from 654 local students enrolled in 36 area schools at the Show Me Center on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.
