Matzker’s Haunting, a new haunted attraction in the Piedmont area, is donating 5% of ticket sales to the Don’t Be A Monster Bullying Prevention Program with a 25% discount offered for tickets purchased before October 1.

Jacob Cheney became Clearwater’s first cross country medalist as he crossed the finish line in Van Buren on Wednesday, September 19. Cheney shaved two seconds from his time on Saturday, September 22, finishing 15th in a field of 79 competitors at the Black River League Conference meet in Viburnum. The Cross Country Schedule has been recently updated to include a meet at Poplar Bluff on October 4.

The CHS Yearbook Staff joined hundreds of area high school students at Southeast Missouri State University on Tuesday, September 18, for J-Day (J for journalism). Students participated in workshops to enhance skills in writing, photography, design, editing, and sales.
