CELEBRATE 200 YEARS OF WAYNE COUNTY, MISSOURI

In observance of 200 years of Wayne County, Clearwater High School is participating in a Bicentennial Week celebration September 10-14. Similar to spirit week, each day has a specific theme. So dress to impress and honor Wayne County’s Bicentennial!
Monday- 9/10 No School
Tuesday Salute the Veterans Day
Dress red, white and blue and bring a copy of a photo of an ancestor who served in the military in the last 200 years, to display.  
Wednesday – Occupation Day Dress appropriate in the attire of an historic occupation of Wayne County of the last 200 years. 
Thursday – Ancestor Day Bring a copy of the oldest photo of one of your Wayne County ancestors, to display in your classroom.  
Friday – Heritage Day Dress in the color that represents how long your family has been in Wayne County. 
Present -25 Years – Brown
50-100 years – Yellow
100-150 years – Green
150-200 years – Blue
Bicentennial kids 200+ years – Red
