39TH CLEARWATER INVITATIONAL SATURDAY, SEPT 15
After making it to the semi-final round in the Black Division’s Silver Bracket at the Dig for Life Tournament in Cape Girardeau last weekend, the Lady Tigers will host area teams in the 39th Annual Clearwater Invitational Volleyball Tournment on Saturday, September 15.
Plan to make it a Saturday full of sports, as the Baseball Tigers will also be playing host with games against West County Varsity/JV beginning at 10:00.
CELEBRATE 200 YEARS OF WAYNE COUNTY, MISSOURI
In observance of 200 years of Wayne County, Clearwater High School is participating in a Bicentennial Week celebration September 10-14. Similar to spirit week, each day has a specific theme. So dress to impress and honor Wayne County’s Bicentennial!NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10
School will not be in session on Monday, September 10, as teachers will be participating in a day of professional activities.

BOOK SIGNING AT PIEDMONT PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Piedmont Public Library will be hosting local illustrator Grace Obenhause and author Rick Mansfield on Friday, September 7, 1:00-4:30 pm. A reading of the book The Pastel Pets of Ms. Patty Pummill will take place at 3:15 pm with a free children’s craft activity 3:30-4:00 pm.

Final auditions for the fall play, It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, are being held Wednesday, September 5 in Ms. Montgomery’s room after school.
