Bright Futures Clearwater is excited to start making a difference in our community! The Bright Futures framework brings together businesses, human services agencies, faith-based organizations, parents, and individual community members to partner with the school in order to help them quickly and efficiently meet students’ basic needs, allowing students and teachers to focus on learning. Bright Futures Clearwater hopes to foster a community mindset in which education is valued and responsibility for student success is shared.

in their schools, students are more likely to reach futures goals, including graduation and a higher degree of self-worth. With a strong community support system, it is our hope that the students will grow into better neighbors, quality employees, and community leaders.

The CHS Book Club trip planned for March 19 is in the process of being rescheduled due to a conflict with District History Day. New permission forms will be handed out as soon as the new date is confirmed.

Clearwater High School is one of eight cooperating school districts where students may attend Arcadia Valley Career Technology Center, spending half of their day in vocational classes at AVCTC and the other half in their home school for regular academic classes. On Tuesday, the guidance office provided sophomores with the opportunity to tour the facility and ask questions about the program.

Girls Varsity will play at 4:30 pm on Monday. Boys Varsity will play at 6:00 pm.

Students will be dismissed at 12:20 pm on Friday, February 15 and Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held from 1:00-6:00 pm.  School will not be in session on Monday, February 18 in observance of Presidents’ Day.
