A huge THANK YOU to the parent that brought Hurts Donuts to school today for Clearwater High School faculty and staff! Faculty members like Sarah Conner enthusiastically enjoyed the tasty treats. It was a great welcome as new IT staff member Rye Huff halved one with Curt Rhea. This is Rye’s second day on the job. He will be replacing Rhea, who will be retiring (again) at the end of this school year.

Wednesday is a 2018 Clearwater graduate. She was a CHS Book Club member throughout high school and an avid reader. The Book Club is putting together a basket for this benefit. Please donate items to Mrs. Bangert or Mrs. Pauley. You don’t have to be a member to donate!

After a four day spring break weekend, Clearwater juniors are reminded to get a good night’s rest and come prepared to do your best on the ACT tomorrow!

In an atmosphere of celebration, students heading out to compete in the SOMO State Indoor Games at St. Joseph received a sendoff of high fives and cheers from their peers!

Measuring 7 feet, 6 inches, this intestine was the winner in a competition among anatomy students studying the digestive system to see which fetal pig dissection resulted in the longest intestine. 

By comparison, the average human small intestine measures over 20 feet.

There will be an early dismissal of students at 12:20 pm on Thursday, March 28 to allow professional development activities for teachers in the afternoon.   School will not be in session on Friday, March 29 or Monday, April 1. School will resume on Tuesday, April 2.
