CHS BOOK CLUB RECEIVES ARCs OF THE LONELY DEAD
The Clearwater High School Library has received advanced reading copies of bestselling author April Henry’s much-anticipated thriller, The Lonely Dead, (on shelves January 29, 2019). Ten copies of the book are available on a first come-first served basis to members of the CHS Book Club along with April Henry notebooks.
To celebrate the release of Henry’s latest, all readers ages 13-18 have the chance to submit their own spooky stories to the “Thrills, Chills & Writing Skills” contest. The goal? Let students show off their own chilling writing skills by crafting an original short story. The prize? A virtual classroom or library visit from April Henry. See Mrs. Bangert for details.
