The Clearwater Lady Tigers came from behind to take the softball district championship in a nail-biter against the Greenville Lady Bears, 9-8.  In a same day announcement, Halle Gooch and Lexi Morris were named to the All-Ozark Foothills Conference Team.

The Clearwater Lady Tigers will battle the Greenville Lady Bears for the Class 1, District 6 softball championship today.  The Wednesday, May 6 match up will take place at Greenville at 4:00 pm.  Come support the team!

Congratulations to the Clearwater High School Golf Team!  Four players advanced to sectionals from Monday’s district competition, also qualifying the team for sectional play. Sectionals will be held on Monday, May 11 in Cape Girardeau.   District Results

Live performances of the comedy, “Fashionably Late,” continue on Friday, May 1 at 7:00 pm and Saturday, May 2 at 2:00 pm in the high school cafeteria.

Director Mrs. Tracy Henson and a large cast of characters have prepared a comedy you won’t want to miss!  Opening night is tonight, and you are cordially invited to attend the Clearwater High School production of Fashionably Late.  The curtain goes up at 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1 in the high school cafeteria.  There will also be a matinee theater at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 2.

The CHS Student Council is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive today in the high school cafeteria.  The blood drive will begin at 1:30 pm and end at 6:00 pm tonight.

These students represented Clearwater High School at State History Day in Columbia over the weekend.  Their projects highlighted historical leaders including Pocahontas, Clara Barton, Eleanor Roosevelt, Amelia Earhart, and Francis Marion, fitting the History Day theme, “Leadership and Legacy.”

The 5th Annual FCCLA 5K Run/Walk was held on Saturday, April 25, raising money for scholarships to Clearwater students.  These are the 2015 FCCLA 5K Results.  Photos are not available at this time, but will be posted at a later date.
