Due to the approaching winter storm, the Missouri State Beta Convention has been postponed to Saturday and Sunday, March 7-8.  CHS Beta members going on the trip should meet at the high school at 6:45 am on Saturday morning.  Return is expected at approximately 1:30 pm on Monday, March 9.

In consideration of the approaching winter storm, school has been cancelled in the Clearwater R-1 District for Wednesday, March 4.

Over 50 students at Clearwater High School competed in the local History Day contest on Friday, Februay 27.  Most of these projects are also registered for district competition which will be held at Southeast Missouri State University on Friday, March 13.

Calendar Changes:
Tuesday, March 3rd will be an early dismissal day.
Thursday and Friday, March 19th and 20th will be full days of school attendance.
The quarter will end on Friday, March 20th.
Tuesday, March 31st will be an early dismissal day and parent/teacher conferences will be held that afternoon from 1-6 p.m.
Thursday, April 2nd and Monday, April 6th will be full days of school attendance.

Tentative Schedule:
Friday, April 3rd may be an early dismissal day; Friday, May 22nd may be the last day of school and an early dismissal day, this is subject to change.

Local History Day projects will be open for judging and public viewing on Friday, February 27, beginning at 4:00 pm.  Students will set up projects immediately after school in the high school cafeteria.  

Clearwater R-1 will be in session on Wednesday, February 25.  Buses will be running where possible.

Cold winter weather continues the snow days for Clearwater R-1, closed again Tuesday, February 24.
