51 students from Clearwater High School FCCLA attended the Region 8 fall meeting at Dexter on Wednesday, November 12.  Skit Designer Katie Sandus had the honor of introducing guest speaker Joe Fingerhut and members enjoyed a talent show that included CHS’s own Madi Brand.  You can see Madi’s FCCLA Talent on the Clearwater R-1 Yearbook YouTube Channel.

The group pictures that were originally planned for Thursday, November 13, have been postponed to a later date to be announced.

It is our privilege to honor those who have served in our military.  Thanks to those who were here for Veterans Day ceremonies and also to those who couldn’t be with us.

Clearwater High School will begin serving breakfast for the men and women who have been in service to our country at 6:30 am on Tuesday, November 11.  The Veterans Day assembly will begin at approximately 8:00 am in the high school gymnasium.

The Battle of the Belts is going on this week at CHS sponsored by FCCLA.  There have been winners of t-shirts, gift cards, and bracelets, but the real winners are the students that develop the habit of wearing a seat belt and driving safely by not speeding and not texting.  Remember Penny and Chad and “Focus on the Road!”
