The CHS Golf Team took a respectable 4th place in the Class 2, District 1 Golf Tournament (2 strokes off the 3rd place qualifying team.) Individuals Robert Jamieson and Matthew D’Amico took 3rd and 4th places, respectively, making them individual qualifiers for sectional play. GOOD LUCK TO THE LADY TIGERS SOFTBALL TEAM!
The Clearwater Lady Tigers softball team took first place in the Class 1, District 7 title game (5-3) against Greenville last Wednesday. They now advance to sectional play against the West County Bulldogs on Monday, May 5. Game time is 4:30 at West County High School in Park Hills.

In the words of FCCLA sponsor Christy Johnson,”The weather looks like it will be great! We are going to have a wonderful race and please remember it is for a very important cause–scholarships for our Clearwater seniors! Thanks so much for all who have already registered. It’s not too late to sign up!” The Kids Fun Run will take place immediately following the 5K at approximately 10:00 am. Runners can still register until race time.

The newest Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Long Haul has been scheduled for release on November 5, 2014 (just in time for our annual fall book fair.) The cover for the book was revealed yesterday.
CLEARWATER R-1 BACK IN SESSION
After closing school on Monday due to flooding at the elementary, Clearwater R-1 will resume school on Tuesday, April 29, with buses running where possible.
