There’s not much time remaining if you’d like to get in on the offer to have a fun photo of your student printed on the front or back cover of the yearbook.  You must order a 2014 yearbook for $35.00 before Thanksgiving to get this deal.  You can order online or send a check or money order to school made payable to Clearwater High School.

Mrs. Polk will be providing a math class TONIGHT for those who want to prepare for the ACT.  The class will be held at 6:00 in Mrs. Polk’s math classroom at the high school.  Students may pick up a practice book in the guidance office.

There will be no school at Clearwater R-1 on Monday, November 18.  Successful student hunters are encouraged to send their photos (deer, turkey, squirrel, etc.) for publication in the CHS yearbook.  Photos may be uploaded to http://replayit.com or sent to Mrs. Bangert at mbangert@clearwater.k12.mo.us or brought to the CHS Library to be scanned.

Area veterans are invited to Clearwater High School for Veterans Day ceremonies on Monday, November 11.  Breakfast will be served beginning at 6:30 am and ceremonies will start at 8:00 in the high school gymnasium. 

The Clearwater Invitational Speech Tournament will be held on Thursday, November 7.  The tournament will begin at 4:00 and end with awards at approximately 7:00pm.  Speech competitors are not allowed to participate at the tournaments hosted by their own school, therefore Clearwater students will not be performing, but there are several area schools that will be participating in entertaining competition including duet acting, humorous interpretation, and storytelling among others.
