NEW TEEN DRIVER PROGRAM… IT ONLY TAKES ONE

0IMG_3594These FCCLA students are wearing “Arrive Alive” t-shirts to promote Missouri’s new “It Only Takes One” campaign. In the past, area high schools have participated in a six-week program called Battle of the Belt to raise seatbelt use at their schools. However, seatbelt use is not the only traffic safety issue high school students face. “It Only Takes One” stresses the importance that teen drivers realize it only takes ONE text, ONE drink, ONE call, ONE reach, ONE distraction, to cause ONE fatal moment but that ONE clicked seat belt could be the difference between life and death in a car crash.
