PROSTART ENGAGES IN RESTAURANT TOURS
Winning $1000 from the Missouri Restaurant Association for management team competition in February, members of Clearwater’s ProStart team reaped part of their benefits today as they tasted and toured restaurant facilities in Poplar Bluff. Thanks to Marble Slab and Colton’s Steak House and Grill!

SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR BASEBALL/SOFTBALL GAMES
Game times have been moved up on Friday, April 13, due to the threat of incoming weather. No JV games will be played. The Varsity Baseball Tigers will begin play at 3:00 pm at Doniphan. Varsity Lady Tigers will throw the first pitch at Park Hills Central at 3:30 pm.
♫ STATE MUSIC ASSESSMENT RESULTS ♬
The CHS band earned a II at the MSSBDA state music assessment festival on April 5, receiving II’s from all three room judges and a II in sightreading.
The band also received a II rating on April 7, at the MSHSAA state music assessment at Three Rivers College. On this date, they received a II in sight-reading, two II’s and a I in the room. This gave them a total of 7 points. I rating is 4-6 points, II is 7-10. This is the best score received since 1998.
On April 7th, the choir received a II rating at MSHSAA state music assessment festival.
EARLY DISMISSAL THURSDAY; NO SCHOOL FRIDAY
There will be an early dismissal of students at 12:20 pm on Thursday, April 12 to allow professional development activities for teachers in the afternoon. School will not be in session on Friday, April 13.
SOFTBALL GAME TODAY AT 4:00 PM
The softball game on Wednesday, April 11 will be played at 4:00 pm, with the bus leaving for Neelyville at 2:00 pm. The baseball team will also be leaving at 2:00 pm for a 4:00 game with Woodland.
COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT PLACES 9TH AT STATE FBLA
END OF YEAR AWARDS
- The Academic Banquet will be held on Tuesday, April 24 at 7:00 pm by invitation only.
- The Athletic Awards reception is open to all high school athletes and their families and has been scheduled for Friday, May 4, 2018 at 7:00 pm in the high school cafeteria.
