For the first time in Clearwater history, the 2018 Lady Tigers captured a sectional championship on Monday, May 7! Now it’s time to cheer them on as they move to quarterfinals. The game that determines the final team heading to the state championships in Springfield will be hosted at Piedmont’s Rotary Park on Saturday, May 12 at 4:00 pm. The Lady Tigers and their coaches have worked hard to get this far, coming from a 3-4 deficit in the 7th inning of sectionals against West County to win the game 5-4 with a Rachel Rowold walk-off double. Now they are calling on fans to be the “extra man” to support them in their bid for a state title. Go Tigers!
