Congratulations to golf team members Brett Jackson, Jimmy Hutchison, and Ethan Jameson. All three  qualified on Monday in the Class 2, District 1 Golf Tournament to advance to sectionals. Jackson placed 5th in the tournament, just three strokes behind the leader to earn All District honors. Sectionals will be played on  Monday, May 7 at the Kimbeland Country Club in Jackson. Both the boys’ baseball team and the girls’ softball teams advanced yesterday in their respective tournaments and move to semifinal play today. The Clearwater Tigers will face the host Ellington team in the BRL baseball semifinals at 5:00 pm.  The Lady Tigers will take on Liberty at 3:30 pm in the C1D5 tournament at Rotary Park in Piedmont.
