The Missouri Class 3 District 2 Basketball Tournament begins Saturday, February 22 at Fredericktown with both Clearwater teams taking the court against Saxony Lutheran. The Lady Tigers are scheduled to tip-off at 10:30 am and the Tigers at noon.
Senior night ceremonies for all sports will be conducted at CHS on Tuesday, February 18 with Clearwater hosting the Naylor Eagles. The following schedule of events will begin at 5:00 pm.
School will not be in session in the Clearwater R-1 School District on Monday, February 17, in observance of Presidents’ Day. Students will not be in attendance on Tuesday, February 18, as Parent-Teacher conferences will be held 11:00 am – 6:00 pm. School will resume on Wednesday, February 19.

The book club, speech/drama club, and music groups are sponsoring a trip to see the debut performance of the Three Rivers College production, The Wizard of Oz, on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 7:00 pm. The cast includes CHS’s own Amaya Keele playing the lead role of Dorothy, Ana Gayle on the yellow brick road and in the poppy field, and school board president Bobby Gayle as Uncle Henry/General Winkie. Tickets are available in the high school library for students at $5.00 each (half the cost of a regular ticket.) See Mrs. Bangert for more details.
