CHS graduate Jessica Devenport was the first speaker in Clearwater’s new Career Cafe series. Devenport provided information on science careers and gave personal insights to students on Wednesday in a Zoom meeting during the advisory/lunch period. Throughout the year, Career Cafe presenters will offer information on a variety of careers with recordings available to view afterward.

This Career Cafe is part of the library’s Spotlight on Literacy grant for 2020-21. The varsity eSports program at Drury University live streamed Clearwater’s first eSports game yesterday. Clearwater ESports continues with a Rocket League match after school on Thursday, October 15.

Beautiful weather and picturesque scenery graced the Black River League Conference Cross Country Meet at Eagle Sky last week as Clearwater hosted five area schools in six races. The East Carter Boys and Girls took top varsity team honors. For all race times, see official results at MOMileSplit.
