Clearwater R-1 School District appreciated our United States veterans this week with breakfast served by ProStart students, a Virtual Veterans Day Assembly, and a Veterans Day Slides Tribute. It was an honor to serve those who have so greatly served us.

SENIOR MEETING TUESDAY, NOV 10
The Herff Jones representative will be at school on Tuesday, November 10 to present senior products, including graduation announcements, at a senior meeting during advisory/lunch. Seniors will meet in the high school gym, while maintaining social distance. The HJ representative will return on Wednesday, November 18 to collect orders during advisory/lunch.

CONGRATS TO JACOB CHENEY, FIRST CHS XC STATE COMPETITOR
Pictured with Clearwater Coach Jim West, Greenville Coach Brent Huff and Greenville’s Jagger Robinson, Jacob Cheney became the first Clearwater runner to compete in the Missouri cross country championships on Friday, November 6. With a time of 18:46, Jacob Cheney crossed the finish line in Columbia, placing #78 in a field of 168 runners. Most of his supporters watched the State Class 2 race virtually, as spectators were limited due to COVID social distancing. The race at Gans Creek Cross Country Course was streamed live by Prime Time Timing on MSHSAA TV.

CHENEY AT STATE CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS… LIVE STREAM LINK
CHS senior Jacob Cheney will be competing in the last race of his high school career at the Class 2 Cross Country State Championships in Columbia this afternoon. The Live Stream begins on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 4:00 pm.
