On Wednesday, February 3, Noah Graham traveled to Jefferson City for the National FFA Week Careers in Agriculture Day. While there, Noah attended the governor’s state FFA week proclamation. He also attended presentations on different aspects of agriculture. Presenters included the Missouri Director of Agriculture, Missouri State FFA advisor, Missouri Commissioner of Elementary and Secondary Education, the Mizzou Animal Sciences Division Director, the KC Animal Health Corridor Vice President, and a few others. Later, Noah met with a panel that included two representatives from Missouri Farm Bureau, a representative from Missouri Corn, a representative from Missouri Soybean, and a representative from Missouri Pork. He toured the capitol and then met with Senator Mike Bernskoetter, Representative Don Rone, and Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe. This is the second time Noah has attended, and he had this to say of his trip: . “I thought it was a very informational event, and I learned a lot about many different aspects of agriculture. I also made many new connections that will greatly benefit my agricultural career.”
