Great news a new element has been discovered – Candium! It’s symbol is Cc, and it has three different isotopes – pumpkins, candy corn, and red hots. Students determined the atomic mass of each isotope of candium, then calculated the average atomic mass based on how often each isotope occurs in their sample.
