Area sports fans are invited to a day full of volleyball action as Clearwater High School hosts the 41^st Annual Clearwater Invitational Tournament on Saturday, October 3, 2020.

Bracket play will start at approximately 1:30 PM.  Championship match will start at approximately 6:00 PM.  There will be no third place match.

All teams will advance into bracket play.  The bracket matches will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of pool play.  All bracket matches will be the best-of-3 sets.  Winner of game #4 will have the option of a 15 minute break before the start of warm-ups for the championship game. All bracket matches, including the championship, will be played to regulation points with normal time-outs and warm-ups.  There will be no point cap on bracket games.

Regular school picture day will be Friday, October 2 on all Clearwater campuses. Remote learners and students needing retakes will have photographs taken on Tuesday, November 24.

This week ends with a strong showing for CHS cross country athletes as every high school boy on the team ran a personal best at the Van Buren Invite on Wednesday and senior Jacob Cheney brought home a Top 10 medal. The 5000 meter race also finished with the CHS girls’ record being broken for the first time in Clearwater cross country history. “Nancy Hampton ran a beautiful race to break the record,” Coach Jim West grinned. “Grace Beezley and Ava Umfleet, running for junior high, also showed great improvement.”
