Congratulations to the Clearwater High School Cheer Team! The squad placed 4th in the Small Co-ed School Division at regional contest over the weekend, advancing them to state competition.

A mini workshop on Special Effects Make-up is being offered this week in the library during advisory. This is a special privilege for students with A/B grades. If you are an A/B student, you are invited to sign up on the library door to attend Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.  Hurry! …limited number of seats available!

RULES:

1. Character should be designed based on a book we have in the library, or a school appropriate book that you bring from home. (The book should be displayed with the pumpkin.)
2. Please do NOT cut into the pumpkin (because we don’t want it to rot and smell in the library!)
3. Bring your pumpkin to the high school library by noon on Wednesday, October 30.

Look for a link on this website to vote for your favorite character pumpkin. The winner will receive a CASH PRIZE on Halloween and must be present at school, or attending a school function, in order to win. (Only students attending Clearwater High School are eligible to win.)

Clearwater was one of ten school districts represented at the Pathway to Rural Missouri Education Conference on Monday, October 21. Over 100 students attended the event held on the West Plains campus of Missouri State University.

WEAR PINK! Tomorrow night’s volleyball game at Piedmont between Clearwater and South Iron will be a PINK OUT event in support of breast cancer awareness month.
