CHS Beta members excelled in art contest divisions at the recent state Beta convention in Springfield, with the top students advancing to nationals next summer. Follow chstigerlibrary for a complete list of national qualifiers.

LAST CHANCE!! Bring in book donations by Monday morning for the Interact book drive. The 1st hour class that brings in the most books  will receive a pizza/soda party! All genres of new or gently used books are accepted. Books will be donated to the Down Home Women’s Shelter and South Central Missouri Community Action Agency.

The Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis is welcoming CHS drama students on Thursday, as they take in a Tony Award-winning musical performance of Les Misérables.

The Clearwater Lady Tigers will begin Christmas Tournament play at Twin Rivers on Saturday, December 15 at 9:00 am.

Students will be dismissed at 12:20 pm on Tuesday, December 11 to allow teachers to be involved in professional development activities in the afternoon.

The CMS Winter Concert will be held Friday, December 7 and the CHS Winter Concert will be held on Monday, December 10. Both concerts will begin at 6:00 pm in the high school gymnasium.

Each concert will last approximately one hour. The high school concert will include performances by the Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and Symphonic Band. The middle school concert will include Beginning Band, Jr High Band, and Jr High Choir. New to Clearwater R-1 this year, music groups will be directed by Alyssa Thibodeaux. 

The entire community is invited to attend and Ms. Thibodeaux expresses appreciation for support of her students who have been “working very hard the entire semester in preparation for these events!”
