CHS students proved their smarts, bringing home 5th place in the Missouri LifeSmarts competition on Wednesday, December 4. Special recognition was given to Lexi Jordan and Elizabeth Gronski with the state’s top individual scores for Personal Finance and Consumer Right, respectively. Other team members included Caitlyn Alcorn, Taylor Freeze, and Sydney McLain.
Teams from around the state participated in online testing that began in September with the top teams advancing to live competition at the Governor’s office building in Jefferson City yesterday. FCCLA sponsor and personal finance instructor Christy Johnson accompanied the group.
