A group of 23 CHS juniors and seniors attended TRC Preview Day as a way to learn more about what TRC has to offer. Students were given an overview of the college which included a presentation with important dates and deadlines. They covered the application process, financial aid, housing application process, and campus activities and clubs. Afterward, they took a tour of the campus. Before leaving, students were given pizza for lunch and participated in a question and answer session. The visit was part of the RootED program led by counselor Tonia Miriani. The of goal of the RootEd program is to to ensure high school students, particularly those in rural communities, have an advisor exclusively focused on helping them achieve success following graduation.
