A group of CHS juniors and seniors had the opportunity this week to attend Build My Future Day in Sikeston. Build My Future Day is a national workforce development initiative to highight careers in the construction industry through hands-on learning opportunities provided by local employers, educators, and skilled trades associtions. Our students partcipated in many activies including these: concrete testing, asphalt paving , virtual welding, heavy equipment operation, surveying, and much more. Our students were all given t-shirts, swag bags, and lunch. Mr. Kyle Mabury, Ag instruction, and Mrs. Tonia Miriani, RootED counselor, attended with our students.
