National Honor Society members gathered this morning for the annual induction breakfast at Zephyr restaurant in Piedmont. NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. Membership in the National Honor Society is a prestigious distinction awarded to deserving students in grades 10-12. Congratulations!

Enter between October 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018. Open to US residents, ages 13-18.

• All juniors & seniors are invited to attend the Mineral Area College Day.  Over 80 college/trade school/military representatives will be present for the event.  Pick up a permission slip in the counselor’s office if interested in attending.

Thursday, October 25

• FCCLA is hosting the Annual Blood Drive 1:00 – 6:00 pm.  There will be a free t-shirt given to all who donate!  Please sign up for an appointment in Mrs. Johnson’s room–if you are 16, you will need to pick up a permission slip as well.  One blood donation can potentially save up to 3 lives!!!

Support the Clearwater Lady Tigers at the Pink Out game on Tuesday, October 16 at South Iron. A pep bus will be available if enough high school students sign up in the high school office by Monday, October 15 to ride the bus to Annapolis.

The Clearwater Tigers came home with the Ozark Foothills Tournament Championship yesterday, defeating East Carter 7-2 in the title game. The Tigers finish the fall season undefeated at 12-0.

The C2D2 Tournament will be hosted at Clearwater beginning October 22.

The Clearwater Tigers will take on the East Carter Red Birds in the Ozark Foothills Tournament Championship game at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 11. The third place game between Twin Rivers and Naylor will begin at 1:00 pm. All games will be played at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff.

Students in Mrs. Conner’s multimedia class have completed their Short Films assignments. Now CLEARWATER STUDENTS AND TEACHERS are invited to decide what film should receive the People’s Choice Award. Go to the 2018 Multimedia Playlist on the CHSTigerLibrary YouTube Channel to watch and then vote for your favorite! Only the six projects created by the 2018 multimedia class are eligible for this award.
